David’s research involves studying emerging vaccination techniques relating to the Nipah virus and influenza viruses. Specifically, he observes how the presentation of native proteins on virus-like particles impact the immune response to enable more effective forms of vaccination. He also studies the interactions of the attachment and fusion glycoproteins of henipaviruses and their ability to cause partial and full fusion.
